I live in the traditional territory of the Coast Salish on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in Canada. I work as Nature Based Psychotherapist, Wilderness Guide and Sea Kayak Instructor and am a member of the Marine Search and Rescue. I love nature and people. I m interested in long distance sea kayaking and have circumnavigated the Haida Gwaii Archepelago and Vancouver Island as well as paddling from Skagway, Alaska to Pacific City, Oregon. I feel most alive and free when I m on the land or sea facing my greatest challenge: my self.

  3. Tell us about your favorite adventure?
  4. One of my most memorable adventures was sea kayaking solo from Skagway, Alaska to the Canadian boarder - I learned to trust in my own basic goodness and to relate to nature with an open and calm mind.

  5. Who do you enjoy spending the day out with?
  6. Any friend interested in embracing adventure and life in an intelligent, compassionate and bold way.

  7. Share a podcast/article/book/movie that you have enjoyed lately
  8. Little Big Man - what an inspiring and uplifting movie.

  9. Do you have any favorite quote or words of wisdom that you often use or like specifically?
  10. "Oh Great Spirit Whose voice I hear in the wind. Whose breath gives life to the world. Hear me, I come to you as one of your many children. I am small and weak. I need your strength and your wisdom. May I walk in beauty. Make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things that you have made. And my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may know the things you have taught your children the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. Make me strong not to be superior to my brothers. But to be able to fight my greatest enemy – myself. Make me ever ready to come to you with straight eyes. So that when life fades as the fading sunset; My spirit will come to you without shame".
