Trek high into the Colorado backcountry

Expansive and untamed, Fjällräven Classic USA is what backcountry touring is all about. Going up a historic wagon trail through the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest, the route heads deep into Colorado’s dense pine forests, secluded lakes, and mountain passes. Over 49 km (30 mi), trekkers experience a mix of rugged terrain, single-track dirt trails, and the chance to walk high above the treeline. The highest altitude Fjällräven Classic, it begins at just over 2,800 m (9,200 ft) and ascends more than 750 m (2,500 ft). To acclimate, trekkers are encouraged to hydrate well and arrive early. Our local brand store, Fjällräven Boulder, is a popular hub for trekkers to gather beforehand. Once you head out, take your time. Your efforts will be rewarded with sweeping vistas of surrounding peaks and valleys, popular historic sites to explore, lakes to swim, and opportunities to hang out with likeminded adventurers and Fjällräven ambassadors.
