Trek the forest, to the mountain, to the sea
As you head deep into Jeju Island during Fjällräven Classic Korea, you’ll be taken with this world heritage area’s fusion of nature, landscape, and everyday life. Though you’ll trek over the highest mountain in Korea (the Hallasan) the 57 km route does not highlight a single iconic landmark, but connects the volcanic island’s forest and costal environments into one uniquely concentrated and atmospheric experience, . Like the route, the weather on Jeju Island in the fall is characterised by significant changes within a relatively short distance. Though mild overall, the forest is humid and foggy, while high and coastal areas are prone to wind. While trekkers prepare for this in advance, they can look forward to being treated to local fare on the trail. Together with other passionate trekkers, they’ll cook Korean dishes while enjoying the trek’s beautifully located campsites.
