Trek ‘the end of the world’
Witness the scale and wild spirit of spectacular southern Patagonia. The southernmost Fjällräven Classic, Chile is a rare opportunity to trek ‘the end of the world’ with a community of fellow adventurous trekkers. Traversing through pristine open land and paths normally used only by local gauchos, the trail takes you through the region’s constantly changing environments. Over 73 km, you’ll walk through a landscape of forests, valleys, lakes, and open mountain views. Though late spring brings mostly sunny, dry days with mild temperatures, the weather in this region is very changeable. Strong winds, rain, and snow are always a possibility and can make the 3,000 m elevation gain and narrow trail sections demanding. With preparation and some determination, the feeling of moving through this untouched wilderness is unlike anything, and when you see the Torres del Paine massif, the mystique of southern Patagonia feels very real.
