Hi there! I’m John E. Marriott, one of Canada’s premier professional wildlife photographers, with a career spanning two decades and images published worldwide by National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Canadian Geographic, McLean's, and Reader’s Digest. I am an Associate Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers, a Canon Ambassador, a Fjällräven Guide, and the co-founder of the EXPOSED Wildlife Conservancy environmental non-profit. I have produced seven coffee table books and pride myself on being a conservation photographer known for photographing wilderness scenes and wild, free-roaming animals in their natural habitats. I currently lives in Canmore, Alberta with my wife, Jennifer and my son, Porter.

Seeing and being in the presence of wildlife acting naturally.
In 2010 and again in 2016, I visited the floe edge to photograph polar bears and narwhals in the Canadian Arctic between Baffin Island and Greenland.
