Gabrielle believes the separation between humans and nature is an illusion. An herbalist, she sees our relationship with plants as symbiotic and refers to them as “allies”. Based in Portland, Oregon, she feels blessed to live in such a breath-taking place to study plants and prioritises getting outside with likeminded friends in the outdoor community as often as possible. As long as she can remember, Gabrielle’s dream has been to see every part of the earth. Without a lot of money or means, she has made it happen by doing work trades for food and board, slept in airports and crowded hostels, and couch surfed.
