My love of the outdoors and pushing my limits has led to me completing heaps of adventures since 2015, from kayaking 4000km across Europe, to walking 16000km across France and Spain solo, and trekking 1000km across Arctic and Northern Scandinavia solo. I share my adventures through writing, photography, speaking and films. In 2021 I launched The Wild Girls’ Club, a series of films featuring myself and a few girlfriends, focusing on the joy of adventuring in wild places with like-minded people!

  1. What aspect of being in nature is most important to you?
  2. The opportunity to disconnect from the constant noise and distraction of everyday life. I keep my phone off so I don't get pestered by emails or notifications, and instead my entire focus is on where I am and what I'm doing. It becomes a much more mindful and rewarding experience!

  3. Tell us about your favorite adventure?
  4. In 2019 I spent several months trekking just over 1,000km across Arctic and Northern Scandinavia, following the mountains on the Swedish-Norwegian border. It was so incredible to spend that amount of time in my favourite part of the world, to experience so much natural beauty. Being a small entity in such a vast landscape, carrying everything I needed for that amount of time, being self-sufficient and able to overcome the challenges that are thrown my way on an adventure like made it one of the most fulfilling experiences ever!

  5. Who do you enjoy spending the day out with?
  6. Although I'm a solo adventurer at heart, I love being out with the girls who I've got to know through our common love of adventure and Northern Scandinavia! Also my gorgeous dog, Bilbo. He's my adventure companion in training!

  7. Share a podcast/article/book/movie that you have enjoyed lately
  8. One of my favourite things about long adventures is the opportunity to snuggle into my sleeping bag and spend hours reading. One of my favourite books (which I've read several times now) is "Where The Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens. Absolutely beautiful!

  9. Do you have any favorite quote or words of wisdom that you often use or like specifically?
  10. "Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." Francis of Assisi
