My curiosity often take me to different places or urge me to explore specific areas but during different seasons. It is a complete different way to enjoy ski touring in winter and hunting or trekking in the autumn even though the paths are still the same. My joy for the outdoor has always been present and my earliest childhood memories comes from a blue backpack I used for excursions at kinder garden. I can still sense how the bag smelled and to be honest, I still fill my backpack with the same type of sandwiches.

For me freedom is an important part of why I’m drawn to outdoor life. If the conditions or terrain is very demanding, you have to practice to be able to feel that confidence that comes with freedom, I think that’s why I’m always keen on learning new skills. I know that my freedom will grow larger.
Hopefully, I haven’t explored my favourite adventure yet, but so far I think Mongolia has been the most unexpected adventure in terms of nature, culture and food.
If I’m spending a day out, I love to do it with someone who share my joy for outdoor cooking.
