A personal connection and re-connection to nature and wildness, also learning about other peoples relationships to wild places and the lessons it provides them.
Descending the Yukon River by canoe. A Journey of 2000 miles and 70 days of paddling, we spent the time immersed in the wild tundras of Alaska talking, photographing and learning about the "People of the River" who had lived their lives along the banks of the Yukon. It was a truly transformative experience, learning about the heritage of the people that had inhabited that region for thousands of years, and most importantly their connection to the lifeblood of the river, the King Salmon.
Friends, family and those interested in immersing themselves, as much as i do, into the wild and quiet places not far from home.
