John is a nature addict who once drove from Stockholm to Lofoten, Norway in a snowstorm to see Orcas in the wild. Fjällräven Polar is a dream come true where he can get into the wild with likeminded people and combine two of his favourite things, fire and ice. For John, there is nothing better than building a campfire in an ice-cold environment, and it is in this space that he can be found pushing his limits daily by practicing cold-exposure and fasting. Based in Stockholm as a product photographer, John reconciles his urban existence with a lifestyle based in simplicity. He cooks from scratch, avoids processed foods in plastic and is self-sufficient. His aim: be in charge of his impact on the environment and ensure that the trail stays wild for future generations.
