Being in nature inspires awe and wonder which can have profound positive effects on your mind and wellbeing. In nature I live in the present moment. I also often feel humbled while in nature and at peace with my existence.
In July 2020 an all-women group of my friends and I submitted Mount Adams (12,281') together. It was an incredibly empowering experience to be among girlfriends who supported each other when we were tired or had self-doubt.
My partner Shane and our Australian Shepherd Oreo are my favorite trail buddies. I also adore spending time in the outdoors with my partner's four children and sharing my love of nature with them.
