The aspect of being in nature that is most important to me is the beauty, the smell, the calmness and the connection with Earth. It is also amazing to disconnect from technology and reconnect with yourself, friends, strangers and nature whenever provided the chance.
I have so many favorites! One that comes to mind is when Chris (my identical twin and the Vail Fjallraven Guide) drove around Iceland in winter. We experienced frozen water falls, amazing geothermal pools, enjoyed the beauty of the Aurora, met new friends, pet Icelandic horses and greeted and promptly escaped an Icelandic ice hurricane. Truly a memorable and breath taking adventure... one of many with Chris!
Chris - my identical twin. Having an adventure with him is my favorite thing to do in the world.
11.22.63 - a Stephen King book about time travel to stop the JFK assignation. So good! Im not done yet so don't ell me how it ends!
